Selection Process

Regular Student

The entry into the Masters and Doctorate Immunology Programs offered by the Graduate Program on Immunology is granted by means of candidate success in a selection process. Usually, there are two annual selection processes, in which the candidates go through the following evaluation steps:

Evaluation Process:

  • Exam of English for Special Purposes (eliminatory)*
  • Résumé Evaluation (classificatory)
  • Project Defense (classificatory)

* Only for masters candidates

  • Basic Immunology textbooks
  • Immunology textbooks
  • Scientific articles related to the Program’s research lines

Required documents for the Immunology Masters Program:

  • ID (copy)
  • CPF (copy) – for Brazilian candidates
  • Voter’s Card – for Brazilian candidates
  • 3x4 Photo (copy)
  • Undergraduate School Records (copy)
  • Application Form (at PPGIm Collegiate’s Academic Department)
  • Undergraduate Degree (Biomedical Sciences) (copy)
  • Dissertation Project forwarded by the Advisor Professor (from PPGIm) and a specified schedule for execution and financial viability.
  • Engagement agreement signed by the Advisor Professor
  • CV Lattes
  • Proof ofInternship – minimum of 360 hours – in Research Labs in the field of Biological Sciences, preferably Immunology.
  • Term of Acknowledgement of the Selection Process’ rules
  • Registration receipt (1 copy)
  • Military discharge document (2 copies) – for Brazilian candidates
  • Electoral Justice discharge document (2 copies) – for Brazilian candidates

The special student enrollment application is done in person, through a specific form at the Program’s administration office, along an authenticated copy of the following documents:

  • Registration fee: R$55,00 (MASTERS and DOCTORATE)
